Kevin developed end-to-end technical expertise across the biotech value chain—beginning with discovery research at UW-Madison, advancing into translational protein development at Bio-Techne, and culminating in large-scale process optimization and automation at Eli Lilly and Merck.

Building on this foundation, he transitioned into Eli Lilly's business development and later deepened his exposure to the startup landscape at Berkeley SkyDeck, Berkeley StEP, and LBNL, while earning his Master's in Bioengineering at UC Berkeley. Post-graduation, he explored venture formation through Hesperian Ventures, and currently serves with Nucleate and multiple VC firms as a venture scout.

At ScaleBio Partners, Kevin draws on this multidisciplinary journey to help biotech startups sharpen their technical narratives, refine commercialization strategies, and prepare effectively for fundraising and strategic partnerships.
